United Airlines has just announced a sale on flights to Los Angeles and San Francisco, departing from Sydney or Melbourne between March and November 2020. At the moment, you can find flights direct from Sydney or Melbourne to LA for as little as $662 return.

It seems almost too good to be true, but rest assured, it’s actually happening. Flights to America are currently only a fraction more than flights to the other side of Australia. Yep, the mind boggles.
Melbournites can get themselves to Los Angeles for a measly $662 return, and Sydney-siders can get there for just $14 more ($678 return).
If your sights are set on somewhere a little further north in the state, you can fly Melbourne to San Francisco for just $670 return, or Sydney to San Francisco for $687 return.
Don’t sit on this deal for too long as it’s not expected to last.
