After 5 long years, Melbourne’s Sky Bar is officially opening – and we’re here for it!

A new 40-storey high sky bar is set to grace Melbourne’s already buzzing hospitality scene, and it’s been 5 years in the making.

Sky Bar Melbourne is set for an impressive grand launch on June 30th after a few COVID delays kept it on hold over the years.

Yarra Hotel Group’s new development is set to really shake things up with an extravagant bar, stellar dining dishes, lavish furnishing, and 360-degree views of the dazzling city across to the Yarra River.

You’ll be able to find it on the 40th floor of the newly built Oakwood Premier Melbourne property. Treat yourself to a food experience at the 5-star restaurant STRATO, up the ante with two V.I.P function areas with private bars, perch up with a cocktail in hand at the chic bar inspired by famous New York rooftops, or head outside to the floating outdoor lounge.

The arrival is just as good as stepping inside, with a private entry in the hotel’s lobby leading up to a foyer with modern Milanese-style decor and projection artwork showcasing 16 different loop videos of Melbourne from above.

Food and drink wise, we’re promised a menu of appetisers, seasonal cocktails, wines, and locally crafted beers, with modern Australian cuisine being served up in the restaurant.
