Can’t Fly? No Worries, You Can Now Wear Your Qantas Loyalty Instead

Qantas has just dropped a luxe leisurewear range to rival their famed business class jim-jams.

If you’re still salty you’ve never had the pleasure of wearing a set of Qantas’ business class PJ’s, you’re in luck. Well, kind of.

The jim-jams that Qantas put up for sale during the COVID lockdowns flew out the door so, unfortunately, you’re once again going to have to wait until that magical moment you get to fly at the pointy end of the plane. But, not all is lost. In what’s to be considered a pretty damn great consolation prize, Qantas has just released their own line of leisurewear, available on the Qantas store as of today.

The Qantas leisurewear range – which includes t-shirts, cashmere sweaters, sweatshirts, hoodies, and a tote bag – was designed by the Aussie born, Paris-trained Qantas uniform designer, Martin Grant. Grant has taken Qantas’ iconic logo and red and navy colour palette and paired it with bold, wattle-like yellows to really drive home the Australiana theme.

“This collection is all about classic shapes, comfortable styles and materials that are kind on the environment. But the hero of the designs are the iconic logos that evoke so many fond memories for Australians,” said Martin Grant.

The CEO of Qantas Loyalty, Olivia Wirth, is confident that the new Qantas leisurewear range is going to be a hit with the airline’s most loyal customers.

“Qantas Frequent Flyers have a great fondness for our brand and heritage. Having our iconic logos appear in such a beautifully designed collection will make this range much sought after for people with a passion for both aviation and fashion.”
