Fly with a friend to WA with a special ‘2-for-1’ Qantas flights.
Western Australia has finally rejoined the rest of the world, and there’s a line of over-Easters eager to get back in and catch up with loved ones or enjoy our glorious backyard.
Well, Qantas is doing a little something that might help you out.
Eastern states travellers are being encouraged to fly with a mate as they release special ‘2-for-1’ return airfares. It means holidaymakers and those looking to reconnect can fly return to Perth for just $299 per person (minimum total price $598) from Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne when they book a return economy flight for two or more passengers.
These fare specials are available now (from Monday 7 March) until Friday March 11, unless sold out prior, for travel between May 1 to June 30 and July 19 to September 15, 2022.
The McGowan Government has partnered with Qantas for this one as they aim to promote interstate travel back to WA after our border reopening.
Tourism Minister Roger Cook wants to make sure it’s clear that WA is open for business again.
“We are sending the message loud and clear that Western Australia is open for business and open for tourists. We want to share our extraordinary part of the world with the rest of Australia.”
Since the border opening Qantas and Jetstar have added roughly 60 return interstate flights each week in March which will continue to increase over April as school holidays roll around, so getting over is a piece of cake.
