The world’s longest suspension bridge stretches for 721 metres and hangs 95 metres high.

Say hello to Sky Bridge 721, the latest stomach-churning suspension bridge that’s opened in the Czech Republic.

Daring visitors can walk for nearly half a mile at crazy heights as they look down upon the Mlýnické Valley below, or stare straight ahead and try not to clock onto just how high up they are.

The construction of the bridge took roughly two years, and the height-defying finishing result seems totally worth it. It spans two mountain ridges in the Dolni Morava village, which is located in the northeast section of the country near the border. Sky Bridge 721 is quite narrow, supported by six main ropes and 60 wind ropes, and standing at an altitude of more than 3,610 feet above sea level – making it the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge.

The whole experience is said to be truly magical, offering tourists and visitors a whole new view of the majestic valley and a chance to learn about the local countryside and history through an interactive game that can be viewed through an app as well as on an interactive display.

To actually get to the bridge, you’ll need to take a chairlift to the entrance or get your legs working and take the walk and bike trail that’s about 4km (2.5 miles) long. The whole bridge walk and experience will take about an hour and a half to complete, and tickets need to be purchased online to gain entry.

It’s swooped in to take the title of the world’s longest suspension bridge in the world off the previous 516 Arouca Bridge in Portugal, and joins a host of other height-defying attractions around the globe including the Bach Long in Vietnam and the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge in China.
