New Zealand Confirms Early 2021 Travel Bubble So Dust Off The Passport

top things to do new zealand

New Zealand travel bubble has been confirmed for early 2021.

Australians all let us rejoice as we are inching closer to a quarantine-free Tasman bubble with New Zealand by the end of March 2021 so time to dust off the passport.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said at the final press conference of 2020 that her cabinet has agreed to establish travel between the two countries without the need for quarantine.

Ms Adren said on Monday “It is our intention to name a date … in the new year once remaining details are locked down.”

The expected opening date is to be announced in the new year, permitting there are no COVID-19 outbreaks and there is support from the Australian government.

A very optimistic opening date could be at least from February with the New Zealand cabinet due to meet again until late January to discuss the matter.
